Being able to speak English enables us to communicate with others in our community - our neighbors, our doctors, our employers, and our children's teachers. TLC's English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program is designed to assist adult learners who want to improve their English language comprehension. Courses include beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels and focus on conversational English, as well as reading and writing in English. Courses are designed to assist our students with day-to-day activities at home, at work and in the community. Students will have access to learning tools in our computer lab, including Rosetta Stone and other programs to help you practice. Individual tutors are also available when needed.

Learning a new language can be intimidating and TLC wants to support you in this exciting endeavor. All students will be asked to complete a basic English comprehension test during their registration process. This will allow us to accurately place you with other students who are at the same level of fluency as you.
